About Us

The Team

It all started in 2012 when two bright eyed theatre grads with a passion for storytelling met at a new works apprentice program in sunny L.A.

Now, more than a decade later, our team is back together with the continued passion and drive to bring stories, big and small, to life. We believe that theatre has the ability to transform perspectives and lives, in return. We are dedicated to creating theatre that matters, questions, and contributes.

Anne McGrath

Annie McGrath is a multi-disciplinary producer born and raised in Los Angeles, CA whose work has spanned virtually all creative media. As VP of Development for producer Alan Ett’s boutique production company, she oversaw 11 Hallmark TV movies including Mariah Carey’s directorial debut A Christmas Melody, and Christmas at Dollywood. As VP of Production & Development for Constellation Immersive (a CAA affiliate), she produced large-scale immersive experiences including “The Elf on the Shelf’s Magical Holiday Journey,” an IP-driven family-friendly walk-through in LA and Dallas, TX, and “DiscOasis,” a glittering roller disco paradise that popped up in Palos Verdes, CA and Central Park, New York, NY. She also oversaw all special projects for Constellation, including a roller skating integration at the Chanel Cruise 23/24 show on the iconic Paramount Studios lot. Independently, she has produced the upcoming independent film On A String from comedian Isabel Hagen, short film The Gourd, The Brad, and The Ghostly, multiple world premieres at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and The Blank Theatre’s Young Playwrights Festival. She holds an MBA and an English degree and loves finding opportunities to apply both to her work as a producer.

Marisa Cooksey

Marisa fell in love with the arts at a young age. A childhood spent dancing led to music theatre performance. While onstage, Marisa's interests turned backstage, where she decided to trade in her character heels to try her hand at technical production and writing. After graduating from Florida State University with a degree in theatre, she worked on a variety of theatre and film productions in addition to teaching performance and dance in her local community. In addition to theatre, Marisa has owned and operated a small business as a maker, and has also written a book. This mother of four (yes, you read that right), is excited to return to the theatre space and bring productions, large and small, to life.
